- What do I do if my keypad is beeping?
- 1. Press the * key
- 2. Read what is in the display
- 3. Enter your 4 digit code and the OFF key
- 4. Enter your 4 digit code and OFF a second time
- How do I change my systems master code?
- 1. Enter the current Master Code, the CODE key, 01 and 4 new numbers
- 2. To test the Master Code, enter the Master Code and then press the CHIME key. The keypad will beep and state Chime On. Enter the Master Code again and then the CHIME key. The keypad will beep and state Chime Off
- How do I add User Codes?
- 1. Enter the Master Code the press the CODE key, enter a slot number 02 thru 10 and 4 digits.
- 2. To test the new User Code, enter the User Code and then press the CHIME key. The keypad will beep and state Chime On. Enter the User Code again and then the CHIME key. The keypad will beep and state Chime Off
- What happens if my power fails?
- Your system will continue to operate as the backup battery installed inside your control panel will continue to power the system. After power is restored to your home or business your battery will automatically recharge itself. If the keypad is beeping, refer to What do I do if my keypad is beeping?
- What do I do if I do not have a ready light?
- If you do not have a Ready light, then a zone is open. Press the * key and the keypad will display the trouble area. Check to make sure that window or door is completely closed. If the keypad states that it is a motion detector, make sure that nothing is moving in the detection areas of these sensors.
- What happens if my Security or Fire alarm goes off?
- When the alarm system goes off it will send a signal to Central Station. Central Station in turn will call your premises and ask for a valid Passcode. As long as a valid Passcode is provided, the event is closed out. If no one answers, an answering machine picks up or someone answers without a valid Passcode, then the authorities will be dispatched. Once that is completed, Central Station will start notifying persons on your call list.
- What happens when the Panic Button is pressed?
- When the Panic Button is pressed, it will send a signal to Central Station. Central Station in turn will call your premises and ask for a valid Passcode. If a valid Passcode is provided, the event is closed out. If no one answers, an answering machine picks up or someone answers without a valid Passcode, then the authorities will be dispatched. Once that is completed, Central Station will start notifying persons on your call list.
- What happens if the Duress Code is entered?
- When the Duress Code is used, the keypad will show that the system has been disarmed, however a duress silent signal is sent to Central Station. Central Station will not call the premises first. They will dispatch the authorities under a duress situation. Central Station will then start notifying persons on your call list.
- How do I cancel an alarm?
- As soon as the alarm system goes off a signal is sent to Central Station. To report a False Alarm, you need to call Central Station and provide a valid Passcode. This will resolve the event.
- Should I have a Maintenance and/or Service Plan?
- We highly suggest that you test your system on a weekly basis. But even with that said, our Maintenance and Service plans cover labor and parts based on which plan you select.

- This plan covers parts only* and the labor is billed at the prevailing rate. Service for this plan is provided Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

- 1. At the keypad, tap Security
- 2. At the Security Screen, tap Menu
- 3. At the Menu Screen, tap Toolbox
- 4. Enter the Master Code
- 5. On the Toolbox screen, tap User Management
- 6. Tap Add User and enter a unique 4 digit code
- 7. Enter the code again to confirm it
- 8. At the Confirmation screen, tap OK
- What happens if my power fails?
- Your system will continue to operate as the backup battery installed inside your control panel will continue to power the system. - What do I do if the Home button is not green?
- If you do not have a green Home light and have an orange one, then a sensor is open. The very top of the Home, Security and Menu screens shows sensor status. If you tap the Status button, a list of open sensors will be displayed. Correct the affected sensors and the green Home icon will return.
