Structured Cable System
The Structured Cabling System has three parts:
- Structured Cable: An infrastructure of cabling, installed prior to
sheetrock, that allows for the distribution of signals throughout your home –
including FIBER OPTIC!
- Structured Cabling Distribution Center: the central hub of your system
that directs the signals where you want them to go.
- Structured Cabling Outlets: These are "configurable" to your desires. One
outlet can accommodate telephone, TV, fax, computer, fiber optics and more!
For example, from your master bedroom you would be able to watch a DVD, and
control the player, located in the family room. You could also connect every
computer, in your home, to DSL without additional wiring.
